The Civiltec team returned to Union Station Homeless Services (Union Station) in Pasadena to sponsor its second Adopt-A-Meal event on November 17, 2018. Atenas Reynaga and David Song, along with Diana Occhipinti, Shari Mateus, Jorge Martinez, and Atenas’ husband Chris, spent the morning preparing lunches for the Union Station Adult Center.

Union Station is a nonprofit organization part of a premier group of human services agencies in Los Angeles County. Since 1973, Union Station has upheld the belief that every person deserves a life of dignity and a safe place to call home.

“The experience is so uplifting,” said Atenas. “Not only do we get to socialize with coworkers outside of the office, but we can also give back to our community and help people in need. The best reward is to see them happy and I am so grateful for the opportunity.”

Civiltec thanks Union Station for providing the opportunity to be a part of this program. The team will continue to be a partner and give back to the community.
