Town of Chino Valley Police Station Operational
Town of Chino Valley
Civiltec has been working with the Town of Chino Valley since 2001. Recently, we have been working on several projects to assist in water, roadway, and drainage system improvements. That is not all however, Civiltec assisted Stroh Architecture Inc. and Chino Valley with the design-build project deliverable of their new state-of-the-art Police Station located at the existing Town Hall and Administrative Offices. The civil engineering services we utilized as well as post-design services within the four phases of the project’s life cycle.
Led by the Project Manager and Prescott Branch Manager, Richard Aldridge, PM, MBA our team completed civil site design plans and specifications for permitting and construction documents of the Police Station in Chino Valley at the location noted above. The site design included on-site roadway, parking utility, and drainage improvements as required for the site development. Utility improvements included extending the water and sewer services to the new building. As well as the design of a fire line extension on-site at the direction of the Fire District. Off-site work activities included design and permitting for a new site access driveway on SR89 which was required for permitting and constructing driveway access. Also following ADOT requirements for a curb return driveway with no acceleration or deceleration lanes and closure of the existing north driveway as an emergency vehicle access only.
Special thanks to Mark Myers (Designer) and our surveying team for completing this project with top-notch quality. It was a pleasure to work with Doug Stroh on this project and we look forward to teaming with him and his team to assist in bringing their creations to life with engineering backing the structure and community safety. We are happy to continue aiding in the Town of Chino Valley’s growing community and development.
