Recently, as a part of their Annual School Supplies Drive, Civiltec Engineering, Inc. decided to keep the donations local by supporting Sun Valley Elementary, a K-8 grade facility within the Peoria Unified School District. In raising around $400, totaling to 30 backpacks and more than 300 other essential supplies, Civiltec was able to make an impact and help the community ensure classroom success for students in need. Paige Brill, principal of Sun Valley Elementary says, “On behalf of our entire school community, I extend our deepest gratitude to Civiltec for your generous donation of school supplies. Your support not only meets needs but also inspires our students and staff by showing them the power of community partnership. Thank you for investing in the success of our school.”
Lead Engineering Technician and donation drive coordinator, Carli Monticalvo, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming team support: “This was my third time helping with this incredible cause, but this year we wanted to focus on giving back to our own community. We had a school right in our backyard in Peoria, so I thought, ‘why not reach out?’ When we arrived at the admin office, their excitement for the students instantly brought me joy. Civiltec employees gave from the heart, uniting to support local kids. It only takes one person to rally others, and together we can keep paving the way for these children’s success.”
