Enterprise Tract Water Improvements

City of Brea

We are excited to be completing more projects for the City of Brea! After completing the 2020 Water Master Plan Update, which included some recommendations for capital improvement projects and other areas for needed improvement in Brea. One area we noted was the need for replacing the existing deteriorated water mains in the Enterprise Tract. We were awarded the project in December of 2021 and now a year later we have completed the design portion of the work.

Our team included Project Manager, David Song, PE, Sara Canche, Planning Technician, Eugene Duncan, Survey Manager, and a big shout out to lead designer Omner Meza. “I appreciate David Song for tasking me to work on his projects. The Enterprise Tract Water Improvement was not as big as our previous 26,000 linear feet of pipeline replacement for North Hills East and West, Pleasant Hills, and Steel Drive Tract. But it serves as an example and guides me and the drafting team to provide the City of Brea with the quality of work Civiltec provides,” says Meza. Key elements of this project included street rehabilitation and reconstruction of the curb and gutter. The enterprise’s tract water improvements were approximately 5,890 linear feet of existing water mains. The impacted streets included Ranger Street, Enterprise Street, Voyager Avenue, Surveyor Avenue, and Nasa Street. The project was completed with bid-ready plan preparation including engineering design, specifications, and cost estimate package. Next, fiscal year look out for these water improvements to move into the construction phases as they take shape in the world around us.
