Civiltec Engineering has successfully completed the study phase of a critical project aimed at evaluating and rehabilitating the potable water wells at the California Institution for Men (CIM) in Chino, California. This comprehensive study focused on seven wells, including four active and three inactive ones, with the goal of ensuring a redundant and reliable water supply for the facility. The study phase encompassed extensive data collection and review, including historical and current water levels, specific capacity tests, and previous well rehabilitation work.
The findings from this phase have provided invaluable insights into the condition of the wells and outlined necessary improvements. Detailed technical memoranda were prepared for each well, offering tailored recommendations for rehabilitation. This initial phase sets the stage for the next steps, which will involve implementing these recommendations to enhance the efficiency and reliability of CIM’s water supply system. Civiltec Engineering remains committed to delivering high-quality solutions, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the facility’s water infrastructure.
