Where did you attend college, and what did you study?
I studied at BIT Sindri in India and graduated 1990 with a degree in Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering with an Environmental and Structural Engineering major.
What drew you to working for Civiltec?
My association with the water industry started in 2001 with my first job in the United States. For the next two decades, I’ve since had an opportunity to work in multiple segments and a variety of engineering-aligned industries, including petrochemicals, renewables, power, utilities, etc. Civiltec’s business model and engineering work areas align with my experiences where I can contribute the most.
What has been the most notable highlight of your first year?
I’ve been kept very busy this year with lots of work related to structural mechanical and civil engineering aspects.
What are some exciting developments going on in the Monrovia office?
The Monrovia office is rapidly growing with new faces and new projects regularly.
What are some of your favorite types of projects to work on?
Revamp and Upgrade projects are my favorite, whether that relates to reservoirs, pipelines or pump stations or treatment plants. I love them all.
Is there a particular hobby, interest or skill you have that other employees might not know about?
I take a lot of landscape photography. It is fun to see and photograph nature in a variety of forms.
