Little Pete Well

Based on the success of the Legend Larry Well project, the Town of Prescott Valley has contracted Civilec to design and construct another two wells. The project scope is similar to the first project, comprising of drilling, casing, and installation of the well submersible pump.

The first well, called Little Pete, is currently under construction. Once completed, it will be a 1,500 gallons per minute (GPM) production well for the Town’s potable water system. The well will utilize an oil-lubricated, enclosed line shaft vertical turbine pump and motor combination.

The Little Pete well was drilled and completed in March 2019. Final completion of the well controls building, yard plumbing, electrical service, and associated construction is anticipated in May 2019.

Located in Antelope Park, the second well is currently being drilled and cased. Completion of the current well drilling, casing, and test pumping is scheduled for the end of April 2019.

Final plans for the Antelope Park well are being prepared in anticipation of bidding the construction for the well, in addition to the submersible pump installation, controls building, yard plumbing, and electrical service. The bid is expected to go out in June 2019.

Like the first project, Richard Aldridge leads the team’s efforts as Project Manager. Ray Buettner, Ken Davidson, Ben Tilman, Jesse Tilman, and Sky Younger continue to support the client work.
