Drafter – MONROVIA
Where did you attend college and what did you study?
I attended California Baptist University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
What drew you to working for Civiltec? What do you like best about working at Civiltec?
I was referred to Civiltec by Mr. Bob Brkich at Robert Brkich Construction, who had nothing but good things to say about Civiltec and its President David Byrum. I am local to Monrovia so the location and office environment could not be more ideal for me.
Since I have been at Civiltec, I have enjoyed every aspect of my time. I get the opportunity to come to a work place where I can learn and develop my skills every day. In addition, the Civiltec employees are not only amazing people to be around, but keep each other accountable and are never shy to help others succeed. My time here has been amazing thus far, and I continue to look forward to my development as a Civiltec employee.
What are some of your favorite types of projects to work on?
I have had the opportunity to work on quite a few different projects. I enjoy working on electrical projects as well as water design projects. I really like learning how everything comes together to meet city and client regulations.
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?
When I am not working, I am active in the gym, listening and studying music, or traveling. I am also working on developing my own workspace for ideas and projects I would like to explore, including 3D modeling and manufacturing.
Is there a particular hobby, interest, or skill you have that other employees might not know about?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, staying active and in good health, working on creative projects, as well as traveling to see new places around the world.
