Where did you attend college, and what did you study?

I attended University of Arizona where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

What drew you to working for Civiltec? What do you like best about working at Civiltec (so far)?

I really wanted to move from home to start being on my own. I liked the idea of helping to work on plans since I have always been a detailed person. The work environment is relaxing and I like that everyone communicates well in the office. I feel like I am getting paid to be myself in terms of the tasks I work on.

What are some of your favorite types of projects to work on?

I have been here for 3 days mainly working to convert HEC-2 data to make a HEC-RAS 5.0.7 model and I have liked working with Andrew Shroads to figure it out. In the past, I have liked working on a sewer project where I went on a site visit to verify utilities.

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

This is my first full time job out of college in the civil field so I am not sure yet! When I had free time during school, I used to like riding my bike, playing the piano, playing video games, and working out.

Is there a particular hobby, interest or skill you have that other employees might not know about?

I want to either get a license to tune people’s pianos or to be a fitness instructor. But I want to get my PE too!
