PROJECT MANAGER – MONROVIA
Where did you attend college, and what did you study?
I completed my undergraduate majoring in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I earned my Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering focused on Water and Wastewater Treatment System from South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota.
What drew you to working for Civiltec? What do you like best about working at Civiltec?
I knew Civiltec from working together with them on a number of projects at a prior firm. I had heard nice things about Civiltec and the service area that Civiltec covers is very much in-line with my background and interests. I love the people at Civiltec: everyone here is really friendly. Another key factor is the service what we provide–we are always helping our clients improve their facilities to better serve their residents. It feels good to be in this business sector that involves cleaning and saving water as we face drought and continual water supply challenges.
What are some of your favorite types of projects to work on?
I enjoy working on projects that involve water treatment, whether it’s contaminated groundwater or surface water or wastewater.
What are you looking forward to in your new role as Project Manager?
I am very excited to take on this new role of Project Manager and I look forward to expanding Civiltec’s wastewater service area and portfolio.
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?
When I am at home, I enjoy spending free time with my two kids. My daughter will be turning 3 in a couple months and I love playing with her very much. We do a lot of cycling and running together. My son was just born in February and I am enjoying all of the early moments with him.
