Civiltec was recently included in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Prescott Municipal Airport as recognition of its help on a project with the City of Prescott, the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Civiltec provided survey and construction inspection services. Click here to read more about additional safety improvements Civiltec made to the runway in the past.
The project also brings additional economic benefits to the City of Prescott and surrounding communities. Per Prescott Airport Manager John Cox: “This improvement will allow a new fleet of corporate and military aircraft to utilize the airport, since they can now park their aircraft on a reinforced area and remain overnight. The regional communities will benefit by the increased economic benefit the corporate and military personnel can now impart within the region.”
“We got great accolades from everyone there at the ribbon-cutting ceremony,” said Civiltec Founder and Principal Engineer Rick Shroads. “Another very successful Civiltec project!”
