Reconstructed road in PrescottCiviltec recently partnered with the City of Prescott and Fann Contracting to deliver a road improvement project in the City. The team worked quickly to reconstruct the roadway along Washington Avenue from Sheldon Street to Chuchill Street, enhancing the drainage in the improved areas.

The project scope included the removal and replacement of existing asphalt, as well as installing a new water line, repairs to the existing sewer main, and drainage improvements that included new catch basins and storm drain pipe. Additionally, the reconstruction project encompassed the removal and full replacement of the curb, gutter, and sidewalk with the addition of new sidewalk along the north side of Churchill.

The improved roads and relevant upgraded utilities have increased both vehicular and pedestrian safety in Prescott.

Richard Aldridge was the Project Manager and lead Engineer on the project. Raymond Buettner and Mark Myers were the lead designers as well as the main contacts for aiding the City with Construction Management, Utility Testing, and final Record Drawings for the project.

The project kicked off in September 2018 and was completed in December 2018.
