CAD Drafter

Civiltec Engineering is looking for a CAD Drafter to join our team in Monrovia or Fullerton, CA!

Are you…

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D?
• Familiar with design parameters related to water, wastewater, and general civil engineering?
• Able to work on multiple projects at one time?
• Excellent at solving problems?

Responsibilities:

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings for a variety of projects (water, wastewater systems, pipelines (distribution and transmission), roadways, land development and construction)
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes
• Review drawings, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation
• Assist with preparing exhibits for planning and design projects
• Maintains up to date knowledge of third-party items and services data base and make data available to engineers and project managers

• Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures
• Completion of trade or technical school course in drafting or equivalent level of college drafting courses
• 2-5 years of drafting experience with an engineering firm equivalent educational experience
