Granada Hills Charter School has engaged Civiltec Engineering for professional civil engineering services in preparation for the launch of their new Devonshire K8 Campus. The firm partnered with WLC Architects for architecture design services.

The project consists of construction of three buildings: a new one-story modular classroom building, a new three-story classroom building, and a new one-story building consisting of offices, a Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), and a Library. Additionally, Civiltec will engineer hard-court play areas, a play field area, and two parking areas will complete the project’s improvements.

President W. David Byrum, P.E. is the Principal Engineer for the project. Octavio A. Solorza assists the project as Associate, Senior Project Manager, and the design and drafting staff of Civiltec.

The project started at the end of 2018 with preliminary design. Demolition has begun as of mid August 2019 and construction is to begin this fall. The work is tentatively scheduled for completion in June 2021.
