Civiltec provides an outstanding “package” of insurance and other benefits to all full time employees. Your total compensation package offers many choices including medical, dental, vision and disability coverage, as well as plans for securing your financial future.
Civiltec provides comprehensive health insurance benefits for employees and their dependents through participation as a member firm in the ACEC Life/Health Trust, which utilizes United Healthcare as the provider. Full time employees are eligible for this benefit the first day of the month following their 90 day introductory period. Civiltec pays 100% of the premium cost for employee-only coverage, and caps the employee contribution for dependent coverage, in addition to providing reimbursement of most plan deductibles for most levels of coverage. Civiltec currently provides a Health Savings Account healthcare system where approximately 50% of the coverage deductible is contributed to each employee and family in the system.
Eligible employees who have completed five years of continuous service have 50% of the health insurance premium costs for their dependents paid by the Company. This generous premium offset increases an additional 5% each year thereafter until 100% of the dependent premium cost is paid by the Company after fifteen years of continuous service.

United Healthcare Vision is a network of vision professionals who offer discounted eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. With United Healthcare, you have access to an extensive national network of private practice and retail chain providers, offering convenient access to care, some including evening and weekend hours.
Life Insurance/ Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Civiltec provides basic life, and accidental death and dismemberment (ADD) insurance for full-time employees after a 90-day introductory period at no cost to the employee. Additional voluntary coverage is available to help you provide extra coverage for your family.
Short- Term/Long-Term Disability
Short-term and long-term disability are offered to full-time employees at no cost to the employee.
401(k) Salary Savings Plan
Civiltec is committed to helping our employees plan for a secure future. Full-time employees are eligible after 1 (one) year of service for this highly competitive retirement savings plan. The plan includes provisions for company-matching contributions.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Civiltec provides paid time off for personal leave, to help balance your personal and professional obligations. Our Paid Time Off (PTO) program provides you with the flexibility you need. Full time employees become eligible to take PTO after 90 days of service, and accrue 15 annual PTO days – sick or vacation – with five years or less of service. Your PTO days increase after five years of service, to a maximum of 25 PTO days after 10 years of service.
Civiltec provides eight paid holidays per year. Paid holidays become effective for non-exempt employees upon completion of a 90-day introductory period.
Tenure Recognition Program
Civiltec especially values and cherishes the contributions of those employees who have dedicated years of service to our company, and we’re proud to show our gratitude and recognition. Civiltec recognizes tenure achievements of 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service and tenure awards are presented at the annual end-of-year celebration held each December.
