Capital Improvement Program Pipeline Replacements

City of Beverly Hills

Civiltec Engineering would like to announce the Capital Improvement Program Pipeline Replacements launch for the City of Beverly Hills. This vital infrastructure project will replace approximately 28,616 linear feet of aging water distribution pipelines with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipes. The project spans Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, aiming to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the water system for residents and businesses.

The replacements involve the existing 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch pipelines, and include the installation of new isolation valves, reconnections or replacements of existing services and meters, and fire hydrants. These upgrades will ensure a more robust and sustainable water distribution network throughout the Beverly Hills service area.

Leading the project is Project Manager David Song, PE, with insights from Principal-in-Charge and long-time server of Beverly Hills area W. David Byrum, PE. He is supported by a skilled team of engineers and surveyors, including Steven Walker, PE; Gretel Ochoa, PE; Sanjay Verma, PE; and Survey Manager Chris Duncan, PLS. This team brings extensive experience in pipeline replacement projects, ensuring a successful and timely completion.

Civiltec Engineering is proud to undertake this essential infrastructure project, reinforcing our commitment to enhancing community water systems. We look forward to delivering a successful project that benefits the residents and businesses of our long-time client Beverly Hills.
