Andrew Shroads LEAP GraduationPlease join us in congratulating Civiltec Project Engineer Andrew Shroads! He recently graduated from the Leadership in Engineering Administration (LEAP) program, presented by The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Arizona.

The LEAP program is a career development program consisting of nine all-day classes for a total of 63 training hours. Andrew was one of 25 students accepted into the program, which focused on building various management-related skills such as communications, sales and coaching.

“I applied for the LEAP programs because I am typically involved in larger projects as a technical expert (project engineer) and in smaller projects as technical supervisor and manager (project manager),” said Andrew. “With this training complete, I look forward to continuing to transition into a project manager role so I can help Civiltec grow while providing our new and existing clients with exceptional engineering service.”

In a letter that nominated Andrew for the LEAP program, Civiltec Vice President Chris Dusza stated: “I have found Andrew to have high character and morals. Additionally, he is an excellent young engineer with an aptitude to learn new things and excel at most every task assigned to him…The LEAP program offers an excellent supplement in addition to our efforts at Civiltec.”

Well done, Andrew!
