ACWA – Association of California Water Agencies

ACWA was formed in 1910 by five irrigation districts. Originally known as the Irrigation Districts Association (IDA), members voted in 1973 to rename the group the Association of California Water Agencies to better reflect its changing role in California.

Monrovia Chamber of Commerce
(Civiltec joined in 2013)
The Chamber serves the Monrovia business community directly through a wide variety of programs and services, from simple Mixers and Networking Breakfasts to Marketing Assistance, Vendors Fairs, Expos and Business Recruitment. We are very much involved in assisting our hotels and restaurants, shopping and entertainment districts with development and marketing.

ACEC AZ – American Council of Engineering Companies (Arizona)

The mission of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Arizona is to assist members in achieving higher professional, ethical, business and economic standards, enabling member firms to provide quality consulting engineering services for their clients and the public.


ACEC CA – American Council of Engineering Companies (California)

ACEC’s roots date back to 1909 when a small group of engineers in private practice established the American Institute of Consulting Engineers (AICE), the forerunner of ACEC.

AWWA – American Water Works Association (California-Nevada)

CA-NV AWWA (California – Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association) is a membership organization comprised of over 7,000 drinking water professionals, governed by an executive committee and governing board with 55 committees.

AZ Water – American Water Works Association (Arizona)

The AZ Water is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit educational organization founded in 1928 with a membership of 2,700 water/wastewater professionals dedicated to preserving and enhancing Arizona’s water environment.

OCWA – Orange County Water Association

The mission of the Orange County Water Association is to foster advancement in the Water Works Industry; to set high standards for potable water; to exchange ideas and work for standard policies and procedures of mutual help during water emergencies; to disseminate information for the education of the general public in the use of water and its value to civilization and aid in water research.

SGVWA- San Gabriel Valley Water Association

The San Gabriel Valley Water Association is a voluntary organization representing cities, water suppliers, and other groups having a stake in water issues in the San Gabriel Valley.

ASCE – American Society of Civil Engineers

Today ASCE is a worldwide leader for excellence in civil engineering. With a mission to advance professional knowledge and improve the practice of civil engineering, ASCE is a focal point for the development and transfer of research results, and technical policy and managerial information.


APWA – American Public Works Association Los Angeles Chapter

APWA has been the education and networking choice of public works professionals who seek professional excellence and quality education experiences such as live workshops and seminars, online education.

WEF – Water Environment Federation

The Water Environment Federation is a not-for-profit association that provides technical education and training for thousands of water quality professionals who clean water and return it safely to the environment.


CASQA – California Storm Water Quality Association

CASQA assists the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and municipalities throughout the state of California in implementing the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater mandates of the Federal Clean Water Act.


IECA – International Erosion Control Association
